We began raising puppies back in 2015 when an older couple we knew decided to retire and move closer to their daughter living on the east coast. My wife, Cassie, had been taking care of their animals and facilities when they would visit their daughter, so they asked if we would consider taking over because they didn't want just anyone caring for their babies, and they had an established operation, with a number of repeat customers. After some thought, we decided it would benefit everyone involved, so we agreed.
